Vision Statement: The MSG William J. Crawford VFW Post 7829 is an integral part of the Monument community, leading the way in serving today’s Veterans and educating tomorrow’s Veterans.

Mission Statement: The MSG William J. Crawford VFW Post 7829 will support its members, the Monument community, and other Veterans. We accomplish this by responsibly applying our collective talents, time, and funds through the lenses of Service and Compassion.

How we will support the National Mission, and therefore accomplish our Post Vision:

  1. Camaraderie through an engaging schedule of Post & Auxiliary social events, service opportunities, and ‘inward-facing’ member-on-member support means. When we look back at the 2021-22 year, we will see a wide variety of activities types, to meet the widely varying needs, desires, and capabilities of our Post members. This is our primary focus for 2021-22.
  2. Service through a spectrum of inward-facing and outreach activities. Our service pursuits will promote Veteran gratitude, community patriotism, and youth education. This is our secondary focus for 2021-22, and will wholly support the pillar of camaraderie.
  3. Leadership by active engagement and participation with like-minded community partners. This directly supports the pillars of camaraderie and service.
